enzo siragusa and alexkid s kilimanjaro project first appeared on fuse london in late 2013 and offered a refreshing exploration of house music informed by jungle s production style. this summer the duo are set to reunite as they continue to join the dots between house and jungle with the kilimanjaro sound ep , the latest installment of their much-hyped project.

after the highly anticipated release of his third studio album decay, efdemin presents the first part of a remix series featuring his favourite producers. bristols underground hero asusu inflates the reduced album opener some kind of up and down yes with deepest bass and beautiful scapes to the max in a true photek-style. last years control by staffan linzatti was one of the favourite constants to be played in every efdemin or lawrence set. luckily his version of solaris is another epic hymn here with futuristic enhancements of the third kind.the most extraordinary piece on decay versions part 1 is the borderland states rework of parallaxis. efdemins studio-mate john gürtler recorded that beauty with adding acoustic instruments only and sounds like a meeting of moondog with wim mertens.

disco bucuresti is an audio homage to romanias capital, bucharest. growing up between the citys communist blocks of flats and maturing in the citys underground discos left a distinct creative mark on andrei idu (the legendary 1979 orchestra). ever since leaving bucharest for amsterdam, andrei felt the need to tribute the place that shaped him. however, it was only until recently that he found the means necessary to express the feelings he felt. thus, records released during the 70s and 80s in romania as sole sample source, analog drum machines, delays, filters and reverbs, all recorded in live takes come together in this evocative ep.
